The Young's home in Esmont was destroyed by a fire, Wednesday night June 24th.
The fire broke out just after 6:30 p.m. along Porters Road.
Albemarle County investigators said the fire was caused by an electrical problem.
No one was home at the time of the fire, but the family's pets were killed in the blaze.
Damage is estimated at $78,000.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family with finding a place to stay.
