Donation protected
Currently, there are not enough opportunities for students and students of color to showcase their work professionally.  This theater project will allow students and recent graduates to take control and showcase their skills in a professional theater space. Here are Bio's of the students who will be collaborating with us:

Chris Macias (Scenic Designer) is an aspiring set designer for theater. He wants to futher his understanding and experience in set design and hopes to work on large scale productions in the future.

Jacqueline Castañeda (Co-producer) was born and raised in East LA . At a young age she found theater and pursued the arts after high school. This year she will be attending her final year at Cal State Fullerton with a BA in Theater Arts and a minor in Chicana and Chicano Studies.

Anthony Ayala (Playwright) was born and raised in Norwalk California. He started writing because he couldn't sleep at night, "I needed to pass the time doing something. I haven't really been doing this very long, but I plan to do this the rest of my life".

Angel Leonel Gutierrez (Executive Producer) is a Multi-hyphentated Chicano artist who is passionate about the current problems regarding representation in the Entertainment industry. Angel is currently in his second year of community college with a Theater Arts major.

Anatalia Vallez (Playwright) is a singer, writer, performer and UC Berkeley graduate passionate about theater and performance as a tool for creating consciousness and community. Addressing everything from migration, machismo and our relationship to nature, she seeks to find intimate truths and plant seeds to change the world

Mia Hernandez (Director)  has recently graduated from Grand Arts High School where she received a well rounded education in theatre. From stage management to stage performance, Mia has worked it all and will continue to follow her dreams and pursue a career in the arts following the education she will receive from CalArts starting this fall.

Matthew Katterhagen (Playwright) is a junior playwriting major at Cal State Fullerton. Among other things, he enjoys writing, history, and telling stories, all of which have served well in crafting the story of "Ellis". He would like to thank his family and friends for the stories and encouragement they always share.
