Hello! I am helping raise funds for an incredibly inspiring family. The father is a lifelong activist, and for his and his family’s safety we are keeping their identities private. Unfortunately, he and his son were kidnapped and subjected to unspeakable cruelty in their home country. Fleeing for their lives, they sought safety and refuge in the United States.

While going through the legal process of asylum, he was unjustly detained at a court hearing. As a result, his young adult son has been on his own for several months. In addition to taking care of his beloved son, the father was also the primary income earner for his wife and daughter who are still in their home country, no longer able to run their once successful family restaurant due to political retribution.

We are raising emergency funds to help support this courageous family. Money will be used towards housing, food, utilities and the like. Every dollar counts.
