Yolanda's Giving Tree - Pecan Orchard

Our family would like to express our extreme gratitude for all of the condolences, well wishes, and prayers that have been extended to us during this difficult time.

Yolanda blessed so many lives, and many of you have been asking how you can help our family and share your love for Yolanda. At this time, in lieu of flowers loved ones can make a donation in Yolanda‘s name to what we are calling “Yolanda’s Giving Tree”.

Yolanda’s Giving Tree - If you had the privilege of knowing Yolanda, then you know just how much she enjoyed tending to her garden and the love she had for plants, trees, flowers, and all of God's beautiful green creations. At a young age back in Yolanda’s home state of Texas, Yolanda enjoyed what she lovingly called “hunting for pecans”. On a recent trip to visit her daughter Angela (Ang) and her grandkids in Oklahoma, Yolanda again, found herself finding that same immense joy in “hunting for pecans” with her grandkids as she did back in Texas. It was Yolanda’s wish that instead of having flowers sent to her celebration, funds could be raised and given to the establishment we call Yolanda’s Giving Tree - Pecan Orchard.

Back in Oklahoma on her daughters' acreage, she envisioned, growing Pecan Trees, where her family could gather and future generations could pray, laugh, and find the same joy she did in hunting pecans. That was (and still is) Yolanda. She was always putting others first, finding ways to give back to her loved ones and community, and spreading love and God's word to all.
