Hope Amidst the Ashes: Help the Healing Power of Sacred Song

Over 80,000 people in the last three days have already felt the healing power of Sacred Song in the wake of the devastating fires in California, with the release yesterday of my music video, "Hope Amidst The Ashes - Miracle in The Palisades."

My original purpose of recording all 60 of the Cosmic Chants of the great yoga master, Paramahansa Yogananda, is only intensified by this testimony to the urgent need for divine communion with Sacred Nature - as seen in the environmental crisis confronting our planet.

Accordingly, the first CD in the Complete Chants collection will focus on Yogananda's beautiful songs on the Presence of the Divine in Nature, such as "O God Beautiful," and "Come Out of The Silent Sky," and others. Help me get to India and manifest this healing power!

Each recording will be accompanied by an inspiring music video on the theme of the chant, plus instruction in how to play the chant on the harmonium - the hand-pumped Indian keyboard instrument so often used to accompany chanting.

Music has the power to transform hearts, uplift souls, and deepen our connection with the Divine. The timeless chants of Paramahansa Yogananda, lovingly preserved in his book Cosmic Chants, are not just melodies—they are spiritual doorways. Infused with the vibrations of this beloved world teacher, they offer seekers an intimate communion with the Infinite.

For over 30 years, I’ve been privileged to lead these devotional chants in ashrams and temples, witnessing their profound ability to inspire peace, joy, and spiritual awakening. Now, I feel a divine calling to record all 60 compositions from Cosmic Chants—a collection that includes Yogananda’s inspired originals and his English translations of India’s traditional sacred songs.**

With your help, I will collaborate with gifted Indian musicians in the devotion-filled atmosphere of Mother India to create recordings that capture the true essence of these chants. But this project goes beyond music—each chant will also be brought to life through beautifully crafted music videos, shared freely across social media so that seekers everywhere can join in singing these sacred songs.
