Disability Inclusion - Toulouse to Cannes Para-Bikathon !

Hi,

A dear friend of mine, who was wheelchair-bound from an early age due to Ataxia Telangiectasia, once showed me that people with disabilities are real-life superheroes. Their resilience, determination, and ability to overcome daily challenges have inspired me ever since.

Disability inclusion and accessibility have been a personal passion of mine for years. This year, I’ve decided to put my own abilities to the test by undertaking a 500+ km bike ride on a handi-bike - a specially adapted bicycle powered by the arms instead of the legs.

Alongside David Berty, a former French international and Stade Toulousain Rugby player whose career was cut short due to a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis, I will be riding from Toulouse to Cannes in six days (22nd to 27th September) to raise awareness for disability inclusion and accessibility. We are also fundraising for the French disability sports charity Stade Toulousain Handisport.

While our bikes are equipped with electric motors for the steepest climbs, the majority of this 500km+ challenge will be powered solely by muscle and determination.

We would deeply appreciate any contribution you can make to this meaningful cause. Every donation counts!

All funds will go directly to Stade Toulousain 1901, a registered French charity, which will provide fiscal receipts. Donations from French tax residents (both individuals and businesses) qualify for a 60% tax deduction.
