My psychiatric service dog Yarnbi swallowed a fishhook at the river when a kid put his baited pole down. There was a chance it could pass, but also that it could shred his guts on the way out. This is a total freak situation. I do healing bodywork at festivals, which have been slow as of late and cannot afford the cost of this surgery. I can reciprocate bodywork sessions (more at the end on that note).
I've had Yarnbi since he was a puppy and he has traveled everywhere with me, even different countries. He rides in a backpack on a motorcycle and brings smiles to countless people. Yarnbi has been in ABC and Yahoo! For his ability to throw toys and catch them himself, as well as play pong under a coffee table magazine rack. He has also entertained kids at festivals with an emphasis on fitness and discipline. Before his teeth got sensitive, he's 14 on 11/2, he was also my furry kettlebell. Video links are below. As for the bodywork, I practice a mixed modality based in releasing tension from lines of fascia called Raynor Bands, which underlie pain and dysfunction when too tight. Reflexology/acupressure is most of the work, breaking up tension in the feet or hands. Sound healing with tuning forks are used also. Then deep tissue/acupressure tracks the band squishing out more tension. Many had paid relief from reflexology alone. One woman woke up crying tears of joy after she slept without being awoken by pain in her feet. Another condemned by doctors to breath shallow and have no sense of smell after being hit in the chest by an E-biker and hitting her head and going into a coma for days. She was able to breath deeply again and smelt an orange that afternoon.
The sessions are intense and long, 90-120 minutes or longer. My rates are normally $120-150/hour and can be flexible at $100/hr. I travel a lot and can find my way to anyone who wants this "perk." Got some private donations so I reduced the total, but missed out on clients at the festival so please support my practice. Thanks
