Yakir Ephraim's complete recovery!
Please join us in supporting a family who is always at the forefront of helping everyone else! Simcha and Rachel Gluck are humble and generous souls who are constantly involved in helping others, in their quiet, under the radar fashion.
Right now they need our help, as their now 3.5 year old, Yakir Ephraim (diagnosed last March with hepatoblastoma, a rare but treatable liver cancer), has undergone intense chemotherapy treatments and a 7-hour complicated surgery that required Simcha and Rachel to sleep with him at Schneider Children's Medical Center in Petach Tikvah for a few days a week (their home is over an hour away in Jerusalem). In between the chemotherapy, they took Yakir for supplemental, out of pocket cutting edge treatments, like Ozone and Vitamin C therapy. They have invested in thousands of dollars worth of the latest anti-cancer supplements, bacteria, and medications, based on the recommendations of their expert ortho-molecular MD specialist. Simcha and Rachel have put their professional lives on hold in order to devote their full attention to Yakir's recovery, as well as taking care of their other two sons (now 5.5 and one year old!). They have turned their at-home side business into more of a focus, in order to bring in whatever income they can at this time.
Having a child in this situation for an extended period of time becomes costly, with many unexpected expenses that crop up along the way.
Rachel and Simcha are not accustomed to being on the receiving end, but their friends have launched this campaign to help ease the financial burden so they can focus on helping Yakiri heal! We look forward to sharing his reports of complete recovery and healing as we wait for an all-clear! A refuah shelayma! Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity!
Their hobby turned business of making healing salves and balms in their kitchen is another way you can show your support, and receive a beautiful gift in return. Visit them at: www.SalvesofJerusalem.com
May your prayers and good deeds be a protection for you and your family for the rest of your lives!
Please keep Yakir Ephraim Ben (son of ) Rachel Devorah in your prayers and good deeds for others.
