It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of a young and beautiful woman, Ya Binta Jarju. She was shot by the Gambian military forces while innocently riding in a taxi. Even though most of us do not know and are not related to Ya Binta, it is disheartening to see a life cut so short while she was an innocent victim of circumstances beyond her control. We can only imagine the heartache her family is suffering right now. Therefore, on behalf of Fatu Radio, we are pleading with all of you to please donate ANY amount you can to enable us forward the funds to her family in The Gambia.
