Our Vision
To fight poverty by eradicating illiteracy from Ethiopia
Its main objectives are
> To provide financial assistant to qualified high school students to finish their education & join college.
> To provide housing allowance & financial support to female students who are away from their family & home.
> To financially support those students who joined college through our scholarship support program so that they would be able to finish college education.
So far, we have achieved the following
> Covered 26 high schools in Northern Showa area, Ethiopia.
> Sponsored 739 students to attend & finish high schools since its establishment.
> So far, most of the sutdents have joined universities & colleges.
> Raised money from more than 100 individuals in the past 10 years mainly from Washington DC and Dallas, Texas area.
>Raised more than $80,000 to fund the education project in Ethiopia.
Why we need the money:
Due to the current economic situation here in the USA, our memebers contribution has significantly reduced and we are in dier need of money to sponsor the current and new recruits who are in need of financing to continue their education in High school and join college.
