Piper Goldstein is a Los Angeles Native who followed her life's dream of opening an organic healthfood store in Atwater Village. For many years, she worked as a private chef for bands including Jane’s Addiction, Mark Mothersbaugh of DEVO, Beastie Boys, Justin Timberlake, and the Foo Fighters. Food, optimal health and nourishment have always been her passion; Atwater Village is her home; Atwater Village Farm is her lifelong dream in an effort to establish a community “corner store." She opened AVF (http://atwatervillagefarm.com/) in December of 2011 with the encouragement and support of private funders via kickstarter. Her farm-to-table customer service and grassroots enthusiam has extended far and wide. Literally, Piper has the reputation of being a resilient and vivacious force of nature. Her generosity and extreme dedication to her community is infectious.
