Saturday night at 6pm two days into 2016 and a few weeks from her 4th birthday my best friend Tess, a 42lbs pitmatian was struck by a Union City Ambulance vehicle. My friends at Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps helped me patch her up and helped me get her to the Oradell Animal Hospital.

She's stable now but will remain at the hospital until at least the morning when the surgeon comes in to see if they can patch her up.

Those of you who have met her know she's the sweetest gentlest creature there is and also is mascot for the Comedy's Best Kept Secret Tour. She has touched so many lives from here to Alaska.
