STORY:
My name is Tabitha Carpenter, and I am reaching out to you in the critical aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. While conventional reports will undoubtedly surface, my family network offers an unparalleled window into the unfolding reality on the ground in Jamaica, providing the essential intelligence needed for a true effective response.

We are a family of cultural ambassadors who represent the community that is embedded within the very towns/cities most affected across Jamaica.

We provide what traditional reporting cannot: an authentic, unfiltered, and deeply human perspective, delivered in real-time. We understand that effective aid hinges on genuine understanding, not just statistics or distant press releases.

The cornerstone of our initiative is our commitment (to the people) to utilize the funds raised in a way it directly contributes to the rebuilding of the communities. All donations directly support our local documentarians, providing crucial income and resources into affected communities they serve; fostering sustainable recovery from within.

We believe storms can break buildings but never the spirit of one people and we value transparency and results overall. This is why we are actively seeking strategic partners, who share our vision for transparency, community-led, and impactful disaster response. We are open to all the help we can receive to assist in the rebuilding of the communities throughout Jamaica.

Join us! Every dollar is a brick in the rebuilding and every share is a hand extended across the ocean.

Who Am I?
My name is Tabitha Carpenter AKA: Tulsi Bloom, I am a 2x Grammy Nominated Musician/Singer-Songwriter, Life Coach, and Energy Worker, currently residing in Northern Virginia, right outside of Washington, DC. Through my work, I’ve learned that art isn’t separate from advocacy. Being a first-generation born American from Jamaica, it is my heart’s desire to give back to help my family; and Jamaica is my family!

Why does this Campaign Matter?
Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica on October 28th, 2025, as the strongest storm in the island’s recorded history (and the strongest tropical cyclone worldwide according to Wikipedia). Towns that were hit by the storm directly impacted my family. Some of these towns that were impacted include Kingston, Montego Bay, Negril, and St. Elizabeth (my Grandmother’s birthplace). It is my intention to do everything I can to help my family, friends and all Jamaicans whose lives have been directly impacted, ie: without power, jobless, homeless, etc. This is why we could really use your help! We’re looking to raise at least $250,000 just to start. 100% of the funds will be used to rebuild the personal lives of the people throughout Jamaica.

In Conclusion:
This isn’t just disaster relief—it’s a covenant of care. When you give, you become part of a community. When you share, you amplify the call. Together, we transform devastation into renewal. Melissa was the storm. We are the grass-roots response.
