Help Jane & Son Stay Housed During Medical Crisis

Hi, my name is Jane, and I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help. But life has thrown challenges my way that I simply cannot face alone. I’m reaching out for support as my 8-year-old son and I navigate this overwhelming and terrifying time.

 A few months ago, I began experiencing severe, unexplained pain. After months of tests, doctors discovered that I have two leptomeningeal cysts in my brain, along with cervical and lumbar stenosis—conditions that cause constant, excruciating pain, numbness, and limited mobility. On top of that, I was recently diagnosed with a rare germ cell tumor in my reproductive organs, adding yet another layer of pain and uncertainty to my already deteriorating health. Every day feels like an uphill battle, and I am physically and emotionally drained.

 Because of my condition, I can no longer work. The financial strain is crushing—I am unable to pay rent, keep up with medical expenses, or cover basic living costs. I’ve worked hard to provide my son with a safe and stable home, and the thought of losing that security is devastating. With no family nearby to help, I am running out of options.
