"Hi Family, I wish this would come with better news, but I have metastatic breast cancer, which means that my original cancer (of 2019) has spread. I haven't been feeling well for a few weeks (since Christmas) and have had several tests done, and finally a petscan yesterday. My liver is the most compromised by tumors. It's swollen and my abdominal cavity is as well. The cancer has spread to some bone (spine, right hip, clavicle, sacrum), lymph nodes in my neck, sternum and armpit and lining of my right lung. The treatment is chemo and radiation up front. I went right from my appt. this morning to my first chemo treatment this afternoon. Consultation for radiation is this Thursday. Please share as I do not have the energy to do so right now. There is no cure, but lots of treatments and life extending, maintenance drugs. Love you all and I can feel every bit of it back."
