Support Denise Stoddard Tracy & Family

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Linda. I am fundraising for my dear high school friend Denise Stoddard Tracy who unexpectedly lost her beloved son David. David was a healthy young man who was a musician, boxer and organic farmer that for unknown reasons went into sudden cardiac arrest. David suffered brain damage from lack of oxygen.
The unexpected tragedy of losing a child across the country creates a tremendous financial burden. Please help me support Denise during this most difficult time.

From Denise’s recent post
“Despite the many prayers & immense love & support sent our way, my beautiful baby boy left us. My soul is completely crushed but I still feel blessed to have been able to sleep next to his bed, hug, kiss & hold him over the last 10 days. David, my love for you is eternal & I cannot wait to get one of your bear hugs when I see you on the other side.”

David selflessly donated his organs.....the following was written by Denise’s children for the surgeon to read over David during what they call the "pause" before surgery.

"David Tracy is Denise Tracy’s first son. Denise brought David into the world when she was just 18. Denise met John Tracy in her early 20s. John adopted David as his first son and the two instilled an unconditional and eternal love into their baby boy that David absorbed and gave back to the world around him over 45 years of life. He is an older brother to four siblings, an uncle, a nephew, a grandson, a great grandson, and a loyal friend. He was an athlete, an artist, and entrepreneur who chased his dreams from New York City to Salem, Oregon where we stand today.

David is a man of integrity, who put love and righteousness before anything else. He was known to take the shoes off of his feet for those that needed them more than he.

David is a spiritual man who internalizes the idea that as much as we exist in this universe, the universe exists in us. David is a man of God, with the the implicit understanding that God is love and that love is the driving force of all that is good.

David took his health very seriously, and because of this he extends the gift of love and life to those that need it most. Please take our beloved David’s body so that others may be given the chance to continue to spread love and joy as David would if he were still physically with us today. Rest in Power, David Tracy. He will be loved forever”.”

There will be a celebration of his life on 11/24 at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts.
