Will's run for Sheffield ME, fibromyalgia & long Covid

Like last year, I’m feeling lucky and healthy enough to run round the hills of south west Sheffield for a couple of hours, along with friends and others running the Sheffield Half Marathon. And like last year, I’m hoping this might help raise funds for a cause that supports others in this fine city who aren’t so fortunate. More information about Sheffield ME Group: Sheffield ME and Fibromyalgia Group is a small registered charity providing information, support and a point of contact for people of all ages with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), fibromyalgia and long covid, their families and their carers, in the wider Sheffield area. They provide welfare benefits and social care advocacy, wellbeing and social activities, peer support platforms, quarterly newsletter, educational talks, and are committed to raising awareness of these conditions among health professionals and the wider public. Many living with these illnesses are faced with lack of understanding, wholly inadequate support and sometimes harmful advice. This charity provides invaluable support.
