Help Ease the Burden for Bill's Loved Ones
Donation protected
In loving memory of William “Bill” Desmarais, who passed away surrounded by his beloved family shortly after the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8th. Bill's illness began at the end of January when he was diagnosed with aplastic anemia, a rare blood disorder, which required a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately, Bill suffered a brain bleed, a complication due to the aplastic anemia, from which he could not recover. Despite the odds, Bill fought with unwavering courage until the very end.
Bill was a man of many passions - from his day job as a software engineer, to the exhilaration of playing tennis, to the thrill of watching baseball, and the joy of cooking or savoring a delicious meal–especially if it involved steak, sushi, or whiskey. Above all else, though, Bill cherished his family more than anything in this world. His devotion to his wife Carolyn and his 15-year-old twin sons, Will and Joe, was immeasurable. He also leaves behind his devoted parents and siblings.
As his loved ones try to navigate through this profound loss, they are faced with the daunting task of covering Bill's medical expenses and arranging a fitting memorial to honor his memory. Additionally, we know Bill’s biggest priority would be to ensure a secure future for Will and Joe. Your donations will go towards covering medical bills and memorial costs. Any remaining funds will be allocated towards Will and Joe's 529 college saving accounts, ensuring that Bill's legacy of love and dedication lives on through his sons' futures.
Together, let's honor Bill's memory and provide comfort and stability to his grieving family during this heartbreaking time. Every contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated and will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those left behind by this remarkable man. Thank you for your kindness, support, and compassion.
