On April 30th, William Carroll Stroud Jr. (known to many of his friends as Will) suffered a tragic accident and was taken from this world to be with God far too soon. He was a wonderful blessing to so many people in this world, and leaves behind so many broken hearts.
William was born on November 22, 1985, to Bill and Carol Stroud, of Springfield, VA, and was joined shortly after by little sister Rebecca. He was a sweet and loving son, a cool and fun big brother, a protective uncle, an amazingly thoughtful friend, and was called Dad by his stepson Daniel, and girlfriend of over 8 years, Claudia. William loved music, cooking, and enjoyed grilling on the barbecue. He was also your favorite server at Occidental in DC. He was always there for everyone, offering one of his famous hugs and beautiful smiles. A lovable, joyful person to be around; he was always kind and had no enemies in this world.
While his family is experiencing a devastating amount of grief at a time where they must now plan funeral arrangements, they truly appreciate the outpour of love and support from all of the lives that were touched by William. They ask for your prayers and support byway of this Memorial Fund in honor of William's life.
William is survived by his mother Carol, father Bill, sister Rebecca, niece Kalea, girl friend Claudia, stepson Daniel, and Murphy (his dog).
We will forever keep his memory alive and plan to celebrate the life he lived. Additional information will be provided on his viewing/funeral service as soon as arrangements are finalized. Thank you for all of your donations, every contribution is a blessing and we sincerely appreciate it!
