Wiley Financial Crisis

This is Ryan Wiley, I am the son of Alicia and Tom Wiley and I wanted to share with you all the current financial crises my parents are now facing. Many of you know my mom has been battling pancreatic cancer since she was diagnosed in May of 2019. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment and they have had an extensive amount of medical bills and lack of income since she was diagnosed. The tip of the crises has been my father lost his job this past Friday, without notice, severance or any kind of assistance as they let him go due to the company going under. Hard times have fallen on the Wiley family and they are in need of your assistance. With my mother fighting pancreatic cancer and she is currently on her 9th treatment of chemotherapy, she is unable to assist with much and they are awaiting a medical retirement with no retirement date in sight. She had to apply for a medical retirement from her decades long career at the post office due to the effects of cancer and her chemotherapy treatment. With my father Tom having been let go of his job, through no fault of his own, they are in a pinch to figure out how to make ends meet, as they currently have zero income. They are $8000 behind on medical bills with no way to pay them, our goal would be to help eliminate those medical bills as well as raise $6800 to cover two months of their mortgage bills in hopes that my father will have a new job and paycheck before the two months is up. Their finances are days from being depleted so they are in desperate need of assistance and support from anyone who is able to help.

They live in Alaska, which has an expensive cost-of-living, and they are regularly experiencing temperatures below zero along with many feet of snow. Unfortunately, Alicia's medical retirement has to go through a long government approval process before they are able to access any of those funds, but the Wiley's need to pay their bills now to keep the lights on, the fire lit, and food in their fridge. Whatever you can send their way will help in their crises, it will help the them get through this cold, Alaskan winter and allow them the head space as Tom works to find new employment. If you are unable to financially assist they are in need of prayer and they are in need of networking for employment, and getting their duplex cleaned and ready for renters starting in February. Regardless of whether you have funds to spare, please keep the Wiley family in your prayers. This time of need is when we need to trust God the most!

Thank you for hearing their story and keeping the Wiley's in your thoughts and prayers! We will update as the situation and need progress.
