Wildthunder wars rescue building

Donation protected

Wildthunder Wildlife & Animal Rehabilitation and Sanctuary ( W.A.R.S. )has over 25 years of experience in rehabilitation , We are a 501(c)3 non-profit who is volunteer based and operated. We do this on donations, out of pocket, on grant opportunities and fundraisers. We are a state and federally permitted wildlife rehabilitation facility and a State permitted Animal welfare establishment . We take in wildlife, reptiles, raptors and even  bats ,cats kittens and dogs in need from all over the state! We work with Animal control, DNR ,law enforcement and other rescues to help animals in need. Last year we took in 325 animals!!! We need your help to help us help the animals in our care and all those in the future . All donations go to the care and needs of the animals, vet care, formulas specialized per species,  food needed for each animal, vegetarian diets, carnivorous diets,  supplements, medicines and  gas for transporting to and from vets and going out into the field to capture things like downed owls ,vultures and even eagles and injured fawns or raccoon and squirrels.. So as I am sure you can imagine anything extra seems  insurmountable at times.
Wildthunder W.A.R.S.  needs your help now more than ever!

Wildthunder pools contributions from caring people like you to provide food, shelter, and veterinary care until the animal can be adopted or released back to the wild.

We now have an amazing opportunity to gain a shelter and a shed! The building is 28 x 80 feet long completely equipt with a furnace, central air, and plenty of space! It even has an alternative heat source in case of blackouts in the winter!!! This building would make very functional and necessary addition to our rescue. We could better care for and organize the animals that come to us for help.  We could have a treatment and exam room! a utility room for better ease of cleaning kennels, litter pans and other needs, a room for kittens, cats and an adoptable cat room! a room for wildlife and a separate room for sick bay and icu patients  and even a meet and greet room and  laundry room and space for a small office to help us organize records and files. This could mean so much for our rescue !!Its going to be alot of hard work but we can do this !

Currently, your donation is needed to provide shelter for the animals. A large building has been donated to house our adoptable pets and wildlife. This building needs to be removed from the current property as it has sold. Your contribution will help turn this building into a shelter and save countless animals every year.

Your gift is crucial. Right now, your contribution will have an even greater impact because a generous soul has offered to match your donation dollar for dollar. The match means that if you donate $10, we will receive $20. The donor has agreed to match as high as $5,000 to help us reach our $20,000 goal.

(We've had to update our cost as we were initially not given correct information. We thought the company that moved the home also does the site preparation. They only do part of it, and we have to hire another company to do the bulk of the work. This adds $5,000 to our total needed.)

Brief project cost breakdown:
$10,000 Move and set up of building
$ 5,000  Site preparation to receive the building
$ 2,000 Replace roof
$ 3,000 Building materials
(Building materials = framing to make separate rooms for wildlife, cats, quarantine, sickbay, medical supplies, etc.)

We are asking for even just $5 or more if you can. If you can not, PLEASE Share! Help us in Giving Earth's Creatures A Second Chance!
