Help The Whites Through Sarah's Cancer Treatments
Donation protected
Sarah was recently diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer). Sarah noticed a small lump in January. Because she is so young, medical professionals weren't as concerned as they probably should have been. In the few months it took for Sarah to get screening, her cancer has grown substantially, and potentially spread to her lymph nodes. Sarah found out she had cancer at her youngest son's one-year check up.
She will be starting chemo soon as doctors hope this will shrink the tumors before they perform a double mastectomy.
We would not wish this news on anybody, but especially not on a young mother of two beautiful boys (1 and 3 years old). Our hope is that money will be the one thing the White Family will not have to worry about during this journey, and that is a tall ask. Sara is hoping to IV treatments that cost around $400 per week. These treatments will help her heal from the surgery faster, and fair better during her chemo. Unfortunately, this is not covered under medical at this time. The costs of these treatments, along with the costs of living, will be a heavy burden for the family right now. Nathan is not a permanent employee, and so any time he takes off to be with Sarah or the kids has to be unpaid.
Any amount you can give will help Sarah, Nathan, and their boys.
