Support a Journey to Recovery

2024 was a long year of unforeseen medical expenses, almost daily appointments for the past few months, and the start of a long road to recovery. I wanted 2025 to be the year I could go back to being ME and get my quality of life back.

I had an accident on my 4wheeler where I was going down a ramp but couldn't see the sink hole from the top and by the time I did see it I wasn't able to change direction due to the sand and ended up being catapulted off and landing directly on my head. I tumbled a few times before I managed to stop and get to my feet more worried in the moment about my friends and family who were witnessing the whole event unfold...
When I went to the doctor they said I was fine and sent me on my way with some topical cream.
I spent the last two years in constant pain and couldn't bear it anymore... so I went to a different doctor. I honestly wasn't sure what they would be able to tell me differently at the time.. but I was tired of feeling like I was made of glass and that the smallest movement like sitting down on the couch would leave me in crippling pain for weeks as a time.
This time the doctor actually looked into it enough to find that my neck was anything but okay... I was told that they would have to fuse everything together and I would have to go through the physical therapy and spinal injections and other steps first for insurance but the damage was "So far past where those would be of any help"

As if the list of issues with my cervical/thoracic spin and clavicle weren't enough, I have 'Murphy's Luck'.

I had another accident the day before New Year's Eve walking out of Meijer getting groceries where I stepped on a piece of loose concrete on their sideway.
In my attempt not to fall I jerked to keep my balance... which twisted the joint in my back and led to way too many additional issues with my lumbar and dealing with protrusions on my spinal cord that are cutting off signal leaving me needing to use a wheelchair, having even more unexpected surgeries and medical expenses, and an even longer, harder road to recovery...

If you can contribute or share this post, it would mean the world to me and any help at all would be extremely appreciated - Every little bit helps, thank you so much for your support and kindness!
