This morning, Wes Fredenburg's studio apartment caught fire. In minutes, everything he owned — clothing, furniture, tools, bedding, kitchen supplies, personal mementos — was destroyed.

Wes didn’t have renters insurance, so there’s no safety net. He’s starting from absolute zero.

This comes on the heels of an already brutal season and this fire pushed him past what any one person should have to handle alone.
