God, Family and the Ducks…that is how we best remember Barclay King.
Barclay King, a dedicated family man to his wife, Wendi, married for 13 (together 18) and their two sons: Nathan (8) and Mason (5) went to receive his heavenly rewards on Tuesday, April 25.
Barclay, 48, loved to spend time with his family at various sporting events – particularly Ducks and Angels games.
And, if he couldn’t get to the game, he loved to catch a game at home surrounded by family – Wendi, Nathan, Mason and his Mom, Anne.
Of course, Chance, the family boxer was never too far away.
Barclay was beloved by friends and family alike, and was respected by his colleagues at Ralph’s. As quoted by a store manager, “I always knew that Barclay cared – and he showed it because there was never a time an email wasn’t returned. Regardless of how busy he was, he always made an effort to respond and ensure that my questions/concerns were addressed.”
Nathan loves to wear his Daddy’s watch to feel him close, and Mason asked if Daddy could still see him every day and the resounding answer was “Yes”. Mason smiled a sweet little smile that shouted out to the world “My Daddy loves me”.
Wendi has been surrounded by family and close friends to share wonderfully funny stories about Barclay that warm the heart and bring a smile to your face.
Barclay is beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Friend that will be greatly missed.
To help Wendi and her family, friends and family alike are banding together to create a way to help alleviate some of the costs associated with a memorial service to celebrate the life of Barclay King and assist with ongoing expenses to help the family get back on their feet.
We also have a Facebook page created to provide a chance for everyone to share stories and pictures of Barclay; and a meal train to help, too.
