On Friday May 22, 2015 a special family in our community experienced the tragedy of their mother, Julie Summers unexpected passing in their home at the age of only 48.  Matt and Deanna Ped are a young couple with 3 children; ages ranging from newborn to 6 years old. Both Matt and Deanna are Afghanistan injured veterans who heavily relied on their mother Julie's help. Ms. Summers lived with The Ped's and was Matt's primary care taker as well as provided a huge support for Deanna by helping to care for their 3 young children. With Julie Summers' passing it has put a huge emotional and financial burden on them, since there was no life insurance in place and no other next of kin other than Matt to handle all arrangements for her burial. Unfortunately, The Matt and Deanna have to come up with the unexpected financial expenses to fund their mother's funeral costs. This young family is suffering tremendously with their loss and are needing any support their can receive from their community. The Ped's 3 young children are missing the love and care of their beloved grandmother, and Matt and Deanna the caretaker support Ms. Summers provided on a daily basis.
