Please join me again in raising funds for WELDMAR HOSPICECARE.

The Weldmar staff are amazing, I had the opportunity to meet some on my Weldmar trek to Madagascar last year and also when I helped at the Stampede by the Sea, they are all kind, caring, passionate about Weldmar and dedicated to supporting our loved ones at their most vulnerable. Their work is vital and valued by us all.

Wreaths for Weldmar 2025

All money raised goes to Weldmar Hospicecare to thank them for the wonderful care that they give to our loved ones.

The final tally for December 2025 is £4560! and there will be gift aid to add but that comes in later.

My thanks to all of you who helped and supported me to make it a fabulous and successful weekend, 2 days of workshops, and we made and sold 90 wreaths! A special mention to my lovely helpers, family and friends, who come every year, you are amazing, it really couldn’t happen without you awesome people coming together, supporting again and again to help raise funds for Weldmar.

It was my 17th year of making charity wreaths and over the years we've supported Breakthrough, Prostate Cancer, Dorchester Scanner Appeal, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, Cancer Research, Dorchester Hospital Cancer Unit, West Bay Discovery Centre and in the last 6 years the wreaths have raised £27,560 for Weldmar.

Weldmar Hospicecare is an independent charity providing specialist care for adults in Dorset with a life limiting illness, such as cancer, Motor Neurone Disease or heart disease and support for their loved ones. Our compassionate approach supports patients and their families in their own homes, in the local community and in our hospice. All services are provided free of charge. 20% of our funds are provided by the NHS - we must raise the remaining £26,000 a day with the support of the local community.
