Ugandan Lesbian PN's Welcome Home Fund!

6 Years ago today (21 July 2019), young Ugandan Lesbian PN was taken into Yarl's Wood and placed on the now unlawful system of Fast-Track. She was deported in December 2013 and for the past 5.5years has lived in fear and hiding in Uganda.
On 24 June 2019 the High Court made a historic ruling to overturn her original appeal heard under fast-track as it was unfair and ruled that the Home Office should facilitate her return to the UK so that she could have the fair hearing she was always entitled to.
This is a historic victory for PN and for all those asylum seekers who suffered under the horrific system of fast track. This is the first time EVER the return of an asylum seeker has been ordered because of an unjust appeal process.
PN IS COMING HOME!
PN has been through hell surviving in Uganda, she has relied almost exclusively on the donations of her supporters in the UK. Even with this she has suffered destitution, health difficulties, homelessness and harassment. Despite all of this she has never once given up on her determination to fight what was done to her by the UK Home Office, to speak the truth about what she experienced and fight for her right to asylum as a lesbian. It's PN's determination and tenacity along with Movement for Justice's determination that has kept her and her case alive, making this huge victory possible.
THE HOME OFFICE HAVE BEEN ORDERED TO FACILITATE PN's RETURN BY 29th JULY 2019
This is an emergency fundraising appeal for PN's return. She will need accommodation, travel money, clothes, food - basically enough to survive at least until we can ensure the Home Office provide some support and accommodation (a process which could take several months).
