My name is Sofia & I am the daughter-in-law of Lydia Jacobo.

When I met Lydia for the first time over a decade ago, I immediately knew she was a loving & caring mother who would move mountains for her sons and family. I knew I was lucky to have met her son Enrique & to be included in their family as if I were their daughter.

Lydia passed from this world on the afternoon of September 28th, 2024, at Stanford Medical Center in Menlo Park, California from organ complications from diabetes. Her family is grateful for the time spent with her during her 69 years. They acknowledge the love, hard work, and sacrifices she committed to raising all of her children & grandchildren. We will all miss her love, guidance, laughter, smile, sense of humor, and strong independent spirit.

Her husband John, sons Enrique, Emanuel, & Robert are appreciative of any donations family & friends can provide which will be used to cover the costs of paying for Lydia's memorial services & memorial reception in San Jose, California. All funds will be given to John Jacobo for funeral & memorial expenses.

All are welcome to attend services to celebrate Lydia's life.
