Hi I am raising funds for Shiba. the precious child of my friend Shiba and Farooq who is bravely fighting against TSC-a rare genetic disorder since 16years but still manages to maintain his sweet innocent smile that touches the heart. His condition has taken away his precious childhood where he unlike other kids who grow up playing, learning, make friends, go to school and have a fun life, can't do any of these.They have not left a stone unturned to bring some ease in his life. They were heartbroken and shattered ever since they got to know of his diagnosis and over the years they have spent hours, days and months at countless doctor clinics , ERs and hospitals and therapy centres for so many many emergencies and surgeries and alternative treatments. Meanwhile he spent most of his childhood waiting to get healthier and be able to do things kids his age do.

Their efforts were making a difference in his life , all the hardwork they did, the struggle of running from one doctor to another spending most of their times in hospitals for either his treatment or therapies. Alhamdulillah he was learning and improving but During covid and lockdown he regressed and his condition deteriorated so bad tht he lost all his words and his ability to walk and be able to think or do anything atall and his seizures started getting very very violant and it got very dangerous and impossible for them to keep him safe.

They have spent the past 16 years only taking care of him and helping him learn and overcome the limitations his condition has caused him being an epileptic and autistic child. But now his condition was getting totally unbearable for them , and they just want him to get better and live a healthier life.

Last year they gathered all their strength and sold everything they had including their small house, took help and loans from family and friends and got him to US for better treatment opportunity. Shiba was pregnant and it was a high risk pregnancy but she still travelled and did everything that she could and also tht was beyond her capacity to get her child the much needed treatment. Allah blessed them with his little sister who has come with a ray of hope that all their efforts will be payed off and her dear brother will be cured soon hInsha Allah ameen. With the help of so many kind souls like you they started his treatment , he underwent one surgery and his seizures are slowly reducing now. He is undergoing intensive post surgery therapies and his parents are so grateful for the generous contributions and kindness all of you sent their way. It wouldn't have been possible for them to come this far without your support. But it's still a long journey, he still needs more surgeries and alternative treatment programs. They need $19000 for his ongoing treatment and he needs to undergo an ADL program in an autism ashram which will cost them another $20000. They are striving very hard to be able to give him a safe and comfortable life while getting treated, but they can't do this without the unwavering support from all of you kind hearted people.

We are reaching out to friends, family and community to ask for support once again during this incredibly difficult journey they have embarked on. It's not only the child who is sick but the entire family is sick with their little baby going through all the pain and needs our support. I feel no parent should face such worries and struggle like my friends are going through after doing an unimaginable job of caring for their special needs child 24/7 in his sickness.
