WALK FOR REGGIE

I am walking from AFC Wimbledon to blundell park which is 171 miles

It will consist of 58 Hours walking, over 6 Days

I will set off Monday 31st July morning and aim to be at blundell park to meet Reggie and his wonderful family at blundell park to watch the massive opening game

Reggie aslin is a beautiful 6 year old boy that has since birth been through more than most of us in our lives.

Reggie has hypoplastic left heart syndrome, Reggie has had 3 open heart surgeries and the latest one in march this year led to him having multiple strokes during surgery which has led to life changing complications.

His parents Lee and Michelle have been through hell and back not knowing what the future will entail and what difficulties Reggie will face, but he is here and improving every day.

I had the pleasure of meeting him this week and he is such a happy cheeky young boy and deserves all the happiness in the world.

If the specialist doctors in Germany can help him after looking at his scans then he will go there to improve his sight.

Every child deserves to have their health and happiness and Reggie is such a fighter and shows so much strength and courage

This is why I walk for Reggie ⚽ UTM
