Waiki'i Inter-Scholastic Team 2024- 2025

We’re the Waikii Interscholastic Polo Team, representing Waikii Polo Club. Hailing from the small town of Waimea on the Big Island, we’re excited for the opportunity to represent our local club and community. This year our club will have two teams. An Open team which can consist of boys and girls. As well as a Girls’ team. Our dedicated team members, range from freshmen to seniors and attend schools all over the island. We are the only U.S. Polo Association Interscholastic club located on the Big Island of Hawaii. We’re reaching out for your support as we prepare for this year’s expenses, including inter-island tournaments as well as mainland tournaments.

Last year our open team placed 2nd at the Regional Championship and were proud to earn a wildcard to go to Nationals, where they earned 5th place. This year both teams are working hard to build on that success and earn a spot at Regionals, and hopefully the National Interscholastic Polo Championship.

Your support will help us cover travel and accommodation costs for the players and include food, lodging, flights, rental car, tournament fees, and the rental of ponies for the team at each tournament.
