Hello! My name is Ty Walker, and I need your help!
I am a student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts studying Film and TV Production. I'm raising money for my first big project, a short film I wrote entitled "While the Kids are Away."
The film is a real life comedy, following the marriage of Saul and Mary Walcott, two parents of 3 kids. The Walcotts love their children and enjoy them greatly. There's just one problem...their children have destoyed their sex life. The film is about Saul and Mary trying to find a way to reconnect sexually, and in turn, find out that what they were missing might have been more than just sex.
This is a project that is very dear to me as it is my first big project at NYU. We go into production April 15-17. This is a big project. It will require very careful and detailed planning. It will require a big crew who know what they are doing. It will also require money. That's where you come in.
I'm asking for your help. The funds will go to feeding the cast and crew (a fed crew is a happy crew!), paying for the location, transportation to the location, props and equipment rentals all over the course of 3 days.
We are currently in pre-production now, working around the clock to to ensure that this production is at a high quality level. A film production is a team effort, and I'm asking YOU to be a part of the team! What do you say?
