️ Help Send 36 Scouts to the World Scout Jamboree!

Hi everyone!

My name is Stu, and I have been given an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: I was selected to run Surrey’s Unit 63 of the World Scout Jamboree and be apart of UK Scouting at the upcoming World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027!

What is the World Scout Jamboree?

The World Scout Jamboree is an extraordinary event held every four years, bringing together over 40,000 Scouts from more than 150 countries.

It’s a global gathering focused on:

Cultural exchange & friendship: Building bridges with youth from all over the globe.

Leadership & life skills: Participating in workshops on sustainability, team building, and problem-solving.

Global citizenship: Learning how we can work together to make the world a better place.

Why I Need Your Help

Attending the Jamboree is a major commitment. Each participant is required to raise their own funds to cover the cost of the trip. On top of this as a unit we also raise funds to support training, food, transport, equipment and many other items to prepare and allow our young people on their journey to and during the jamboree

our total goal is to try and raise £8000, which covers:

Travel & transportation

Camp equipment

Training

Event costs

Location Hires for training camps

and many other items

Contribution to the Solidarity Fund (helping Scouts from developing nations attend too!)

How You Can Support

we are putting in a lot of hard work—doing local bag packing, running stalls at fetes making candy floss, friendship band making, tile painting, badge sales and other community fundraising—to earn our way there, but we need your support to reach the finish line!
