WOLFHOUND NEEDS A POUND: Help to save Rags

Hi, I am Rags; I am trying to raise money to fix my leg.

 

I hurt my leg playing in the woods,

A sare yin I might add,

A made my Mammy greet,

And my big sisters sad,

Shes naebody to walk wae,

Cause I hit a log,

I need a little luck,

For I'm a large Irish dug.

 

Two months ago I was out walking with my sister, my friend and her human. I foolishly thought I could catch a squirrel. However, I badly hurt my leg instead.

 

 

 

My injury hasn't healed much at all, and it's already been eight weeks since my accident. I have been attending the vets every day for bandage changes, but not even the team of Superheroes at County Vets can fix it. They say I am the perfect patient, and always tell me I am the best girl.

 

 

 

So my lovely Vet says the only option now is to have a skin graft.

My human says we will be going on a big road trip to meet a new team of Vets at Vets Now Glasgow, who will do what it takes to fix me. 

 

The operation to fix my leg comes at a considerable expense. I am 18 months old and will have so many adventures with my sisters ahead of me with your help.

 

This operation is our last chance to save our big pup. She is the sweetest and gentlest girl. If love could heal her, she would have been running about again two months ago.

Her bandage changes and numerous pain meds and anti-biotics cost around £200 a week, which I am managing. What I really need help with is the operation.

This is a huge amount to achieve, but I cannot give up on my girl, any amount that can be spared is much appreciated.

Her sisters are also going to be doing a sponsored walk to the top of Goatfell, and the more the merrier. More information on that to follow!
