We are the Robotics Club at Washington High School in Fremont, CA. We pride ourselves on being a humble, close-knit team dedicated to spreading our love for technology, engineering, math, science (STEM) and robotics and competing in the First Tech Challenge (FTC). This year we plan to expand our operations, and spread our love of engineering throughout the whole community of Fremont.
FTC is about teaching students the value of hard work, innovation and creativity. It goes beyond competition by teaching teenagers the importance of working together, sharing ideas and treating each other with respect and dignity.
However, our funds have run dry. Being completely self-funded, we cannot afford many things required for club operation this year. As of today, we can only barely afford team registration. So, this year, we are reaching out to various organizations to sponsor us.
With your donation, we can bestow many young kids in Fremont with the opportunity to have a special STEM experience.
