Village Temple Construction (Tamil Nadu, India)

A small village, known as Kallupatti, at the foothills of Sirumalai (famous for its honey sweet Jackfruits and Bananas) near Dindigul is where our family belongs.
The only Temple in the Village for Goddess Mariyamman is centrally located and has been the spiritual base for the entire Village for over 100 years.
In the recent years, the Temple had developed cracks causing the rain water to creep and was in danger of collapsing. The village community decided to rebuild the whole temple that has played a key role in bringing the community together, from hosting all the festivals to conducting the Margazhi poojai which we have very special memories of from our childhood and still continuing to do so.
The construction of the new Temple started and there is a shortfall and the current unprecedented circumstances is significantly restricting the donation stream. The Temple works are at risk of coming to grinding halt without adequate funding being available fairly quickly.
Our father is currently in the village since the works have started and has been witnessing the ordeal faced by the Village to complete the construction of the new Temple. We are asking you to extend your support in funding for the building of the Temple as any small donation would be of immense help to the closely-knit community which are mainly engaged in agriculture and farming activities.
