❤️‍ What one day began as a journey in the hope of finding answers and helping my daughter ended up becoming a process that we never imagined we would have to live.

After a medical evaluation, where we were told that Aliz had a chronic kidney condition, having been born with a single kidney that already worked 17%; we started treatment for Aliz, hoping that she could improve and that we could eventually return to our normal life. For approximately two and a half years we did everything in our power, following treatments, attending appointments and looking for the best options for her. But, unfortunately, the treatment did not work as we expected.

Since March of this year, Aliz needs to receive dialysis three times a week. Each session takes several hours and, in addition, we have constant appointments with different specialists to take care of your health and prepare for the kidney transplant you need.

Also this collection is because we are facing an immigration test where we are looking for a lawyer who can show us the right path to legalization in this country and that Aliz can have her transplant and continue her post-operative care in a future that hopefully will not be too far away ❤️‍ but as a single mother of two girls and with what I work I cannot afford those immigration procedures;

As a mother, I want to be present in every treatment, in every appointment and in every moment; it has not been easy to start a new life away from our country and, at the same time, face such a complicated medical situation. There are days when I feel fear, tiredness and uncertainty, but when I see Aliz continuing to fight, smiling and showing me the strength she has, I find reasons to move on.

Aliz deserves the opportunity to grow, play, study, dream and enjoy her childhood. You deserve a chance to live without dialysis being part of your routine.

That's why today, with great humility, I'm asking for help.

❤️‍ Lo que un día comenzó como un viaje con la esperanza de encontrar respuestas y ayudar a mi hija terminó convirtiéndose en un proceso que jamás imaginamos que tendríamos que vivir.

Después de una evaluación médica, donde se nos dijo que Aliz tenía una condición renal crónica, al haber nacido con un solo riñón que ya funcionaba un 17%; comenzamos un tratamiento para Aliz, con la esperanza de que pudiera mejorar y que eventualmente pudiéramos regresar a nuestra vida normal. Durante aproximadamente dos años y medio hicimos todo lo que estuvo en nuestras manos, siguiendo tratamientos, asistiendo a citas y buscando las mejores opciones para ella. Pero, lamentablemente, el tratamiento no funcionó como esperábamos.

Desde marzo de este año, Aliz necesita recibir diálisis tres veces por semana. Cada sesión toma varias horas y, además, tenemos citas constantes con diferentes especialistas para cuidar su salud y prepararnos para el trasplante de riñón que necesita.

Tambien esta recaudación es porque nos enfrentamos a una prueba migratoria donde buscamos un abogado que nos pueda indicar el camino correcto a la legalización en este país y que Aliz pueda tener su trasplante y continuar sus cuidados post operatorios en un futuro que ojalá no sea muy lejano ❤️‍ pero como madre soltera de dos niñas y con lo que trabajo no puedo costear esos trámites migratorios;

Como mamá, quiero estar presente en cada tratamiento, en cada cita y en cada momento; no ha sido fácil comenzar una nueva vida lejos de nuestro país y, al mismo tiempo, enfrentar una situación médica tan complicada. Hay días en los que siento miedo, cansancio e incertidumbre, pero cuando veo a Aliz seguir luchando, sonreír y demostrarme la fuerza que tiene, encuentro razones para seguir adelante.

Aliz merece la oportunidad de crecer, jugar, estudiar, soñar y disfrutar de su infancia. Merece una oportunidad de vivir sin que la diálisis sea parte de su rutina.

Por eso hoy, con mucha humildad, estoy pidiendo ayuda.
