Dear Friends, Supporters, and Kind Hearts,
My name is Brian Avery and I am reaching out from a place of deep struggle and hope. I am a victim of a violent crime that has forever changed my life — it took away everything I worked so hard for: my business, my health, my home, and my stability.
The violent attack caused severe injuries, including internal bleeding in my brain and a skull fracture. I am facing major medical challenges ahead, including surgery on my back and a difficult decision about my foot — whether it will need to be amputated or have a plastic ankle inserted. These injuries have made it impossible for me to work and support myself.
I was raised in foster homes and orphanages, so I know what it means to face life’s challenges without family support. After losing everything in this tragic accident, I am now homeless and living out of my car. I am currently waiting on Social Security Disability and have a lawyer assisting me with my case, but the process is slow and uncertain. I am also on the waiting list for Section 8 housing, currently number 40-something, hoping for a safe and stable place to call home soon.
I humbly ask for your support. Every donation will go directly toward my upcoming medical bills, daily living expenses, and bridging the gap while I wait for housing and disability assistance. No amount is too small — your kindness can make a life-changing difference.
This is more than a fundraiser — it is my chance for a second life. With your generosity, I can heal, regain my independence, and find hope for a brighter future.
Thank you sincerely for reading my story and for considering a donation. Your support means the world to me.
With deepest gratitude,
Brian Avery
