Help Vicki Beat Blood Cancer!

Donation protected
This past December, our mother, Vicki, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma , a form of blood cancer to which there currently is no cure.  She has been going through chemo treatments for the last 4 months, but as it stands now, the best option to get Myeloma into remission is through a stem cell transplant.  The procedure, beginning in April, will be through the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute  (CBCI).  The transplant takes 6 to 7 weeks with a 6 month recovery time and must be perfomed at the CBCI facility in the Denver area.  As you can imagine, the expenses related to this type of procedure are high and insurance does not cover all of the costs involved, so we are asking for your help!

All donations will be used towards outstanding medical costs, Denver housing during the procedure, monthly COBRA insurance payments, and other related expenses since she will not be able to work for several months.  Though Myeloma is an incurable cancer, the transplant will give Mom the chance to live chemo-free for the next several years.

Those of you that know Vicki, know just how strong she is!  She would never ask for it herself, but she needs your help now.  Please feel free to share this to your FB to reach others who know our mother and want to help her beat blood cancer!

I cannot begin to express just how thankful we will be for any help in getting our mom through this difficult process and on the road to recovery.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly.

All the love and thanks,
- Cassie and Dara
