Some Battles Can't be Fought Alone
On February 4th, our mother was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer called Papillary Adenosquamous Carcinoma. This cancer requires major surgery with subsequent and extensive treatment; all within a very short period of time. She is not only our mother but also a grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt; whose sole purpose in life has been to take care of others. However, she now needs to ask others to help take care of her. All pride aside, our mom has submitted to the notion that this battle can't be fought alone.
Facing major surgery with possible rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, our mom will need to cover the cost of commuting, treatments, meals, medications and all the unknown associated costs from a crisis such as this.
As her children, we are pleading you to partner with us in fighting this battle. Any support will be greatly appreciated. Please keep her in your prayers as we pray for a successful and quick recovery.
