New Baby for Unjustly Jailed Venezuelan Woman
Donation protected
Hello -
My name is Jim Eckel and I live in San Clemente, CA. I have been taking online Spanish classes for about two years with the mother-in-law of a Venezuelan woman who has just had a baby.
This new mother was unjustly jailed for 5 months for speaking out last August against Maduro’s stealing of the Venezuelan election. Thank God she was recently released to have her baby.
My friend supports her two grandchildren who live with her because their mother had to go to Spain to earn money. She also supports her parents and receives no help from her ex-husband.
I have been her only online customer for quite a while, as thousands of tutors from Spanish-speaking countries have oversupplied the market, reducing the hourly wage to less than $5.00 per hour for those tutors lucky enough to have paying clients.
Here is how you can help. The family needs monetary assistance for the following reasons:
1. Diabetes medicine for my friend runs $200.00 per month.
2. Food, utilities, and transportation run $500.00 per month.
3. New baby needs will run 100.00 per month.
4. A new water well to replace the broken city water pipe will cost $500.00 and supply much-needed water to the neighborhood.
My goal is to raise $10,000.00 to assist my friend through the end of this year with badly needed assistance for the above costs and to cover the cost of a new neighborhood water well.
Please consider helping a family that needs immediate assistance and would be forever grateful for your help in their time of need.
