Support the Vaughn Family Ranch After Nebraska Fires

Steve and Deann Vaughn are proud 1st-generation ranchers running Back to Grass Nebraska, a sheep and goat ranch on 600+ acres of rolling hills and natural grassland near Brady, Nebraska. As first-generation ranchers, Steve and Deann have poured everything into building this ranch from the ground up — committing to holistic ranching practices, cultivating a thriving landscape, and creating something truly special in the heart of Lincoln County. That's why the recent wildfires that tore through central Nebraska have been so devastating. The fire destroyed pasture and fencing across their land, creating unexpected and overwhelming costs at a critical time. For Steve and Deann, this isn't just a business — it's their livelihood, their land, and their life's work. Like many ranching families, they are used to handling challenges on their own — but the scale of this loss makes outside support truly meaningful. Donations will go directly toward rebuilding fences, replacing feed, and getting Back to Grass Nebraska back on its feet. Any amount helps. And if you're unable to give, sharing this page goes a long way too. Thank you for supporting the Vaughn family as they rebuild.
