VGSA Field Improvements
Donation protected
Alumni, Coaches & Parents,
VGSA asks for your financial support to make much needed repairs to our 4 main fields. We need to upgrade our infield sprinklers with new automatic controllers so that during the dry season we can water them every day to reduce the dust on each field. Excess dust is becoming a safety hazard for both our players and umpires plus it doesn't create ideal playing conditions.
In addition to the sprinkler upgrade, clay bricks are needed around home plate so that batters and the catchers aren't standing in deep holes. Our goal is to also do this to the area in front of the pitchers rubbers on each field.
VGSA is a non-profit 501-C3 which means all donations are tax deductible. We would like to complete this work by the end of October 2015 and we can with your financial support.
Thank you!
Scott Smith, President
Cyndi Johnson, League Director
