The Scholastic Book Fair has always been a fun and exciting time for kids, and even as adults, many of us have fond memories of picking out our favorite books. This year, I want to make sure that every student in my 5th grade class can experience that same joy and excitement. I want to ensure that no one feels left out during this special event.

My goal is to make sure each of the 25 students in my class can buy a book and participate in the fair. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the students, split evenly, so everyone has the opportunity to select a book that sparks their imagination. This support will help foster a love of reading, celebrate our school's core values, and enrich each child's learning experience.

Many kids today spend hours behind screens, but reading a book is not old fashioned—it's a way to unlock a world of imagination and set kids up for success in all subjects.
