Iraqi Christian Relief Council, in collaboration with The Mar Mikha Charitable Committee in Alqosh, Iraq, calls upon our people in Iraq and across the world to extend a helping hand to eight-year-old child Johan Estifan Adeeb, who is suffering from acute liver failure and hepatic encephalopathy. According to the specialist physician’s medical report, he urgently requires a liver transplant as a last resort to save his life.

The total cost of the surgery, post-operative treatment, and related medical and logistical expenses is estimated at approximately USD 50,000.

We appeal to all kind-hearted individuals and benefactors to contribute as quickly as possible. Social solidarity has always been a fundamental value of our people, and saving a child’s life is a shared humanitarian and moral responsibility.

The Mar Mikha Charitable Committee in Alqosh is overseeing this humanitarian case and is responsible for receiving and organizing donations to ensure they are delivered in a transparent and proper manner.

Attached is the specialist physician’s medical report, which documents the cost of the surgical procedure only.

يدعو مجلس إغاثة مسيحيي العراق، بالتعاون مع لجنة مار ميخا الخيرية في القوش، العراق، أبناء شعبنا في العراق والمهجر إلى مدّ يد العون للطفل يوهان استيفان أديب، البالغ من العمر ثماني سنوات، والذي يعاني من فشل كبدي حاد واعتلال الدماغ الكبدي، ويحتاج إلى عملية زراعة كبد طارئة كحلٍّ أخير لإنقاذ حياته، وذلك حسب تقرير الطبيب المختص.

إن تكلفة العملية الجراحية، والعلاج اللاحق لها، وما يرافقها من نفقات طبية ولوجستية، تُقدَّر بحوالي 50,000 دولار أمريكي.

نهيب بجميع أصحاب القلوب الرحيمة والخيرين بالمساهمة في التبرع بأسرع وقت ممكن، فالتكافل الاجتماعي كان ولا يزال سِمَةً أصيلة من سمات شعبنا، وإنقاذ حياة طفل هو مسؤولية إنسانية وأخلاقية مشتركة.

تتولى لجنة مار ميخا الخيرية في القوش متابعة هذه الحالة الإنسانية، واستلام وتنظيم التبرعات، بما يضمن إيصالها بشكل أصولي وشفاف.
