I’m raising $9,000 immediately to secure safe housing and food stability for Freya Noyemzar, a transgender woman, healer, and multimedia artist who recently escaped long-term coercive control and is rebuilding her life in the Hartford, CT area.
For safety reasons, I’m limiting identifying details. Freya is enrolled in the state address confidentiality program and must maintain secure, private housing to reduce risk.
Why this help is needed now
Freya completed a decisive exit in December 2025 and is currently without income.
She is fully separated from prior financial control and is not currently receiving SNAP or SSDI.
Without stable housing, she cannot safely recover, maintain security protections, or stabilize basic needs like food, medication, and transportation.
What your donation does (immediate impact)
Your support helps cover the essentials that allow Freya to stabilize quickly and safely:
- Housing costs (move-in, first month, basic setup)
- Food and daily essentials
- Medical and gender-affirming care
- Secure storage + minimal supplies to continue work and pursue funding
Bridge Fund goal: $9,000 (urgent)
This first milestone prioritizes housing + food so Freya can stabilize immediately.

About Freya (why stabilization creates lasting impact)
Freya builds strictly solar-powered, non-extractive art systems (no code, no AI) and is developing low-tech creative tools designed to preserve agency for people living with dementia. Stable housing is the enabling condition that allows her to recover, document, apply for grants, and rebuild income—so this support has both immediate humanitarian value and long-term sustainability.
