Hey, it's me, Azi. Been a while. I'm a queer, chronically ill & disabled individual living with my boyfriend off a very small amount of welfare, trying to move to St. Louis, MO on Section 8, and we need your help!

Due to circumstances, we're in a pickle. Currently living in "property-based voucher" housing, we have been moved to the Housing Choice Voucher under Section 8, which would allow us to move north to St. Louis, so that I may receive advanced care from the medical providers in the area.

However, we are looking at a tight timeline of 30 days to find a place, secure it, and move. We cannot remain in PBV housing. And that is a lot.

Amongst hurdles we are facing, moving, and even applying for housing costs a lot of money! I already spent my savings on just one application.

We can't be homeless. I cannot receive healthcare where I currently live due to the complexity of my conditions, and my partner suffers from severe anxiety and depression brought on by both life events and the environment. We do not have the means to survive without housing.

Please help us. I am scared. I have no choice but to secure housing, and the funds to cover it, and soon! (deposit, moving expenses, application fees, etc.)
