UKRAINIAN REFUGEE SUPPORT IN POLAND - DONATE
Donation protected
Hello Everyone!
Some of you may know that I used to live in Poland for years, and I still have a family of my good friend Rita Zimmermann living there. Due to that, I am in a unique position to help with the current refugee situation from Ukraine. I will be flying there on Saturday, March 12, for two weeks to help on the ground.
At the moment, there are more than 1 million Ukrainian refugees in Poland, and they are in desperate need of blankets, clothes, food, and basic toiletries.
With the help of Rita Zimmermann, we have secured temporary housing for multiple families already, but more is needed. One family I'm specifically proud to have helped is my friend Elina Stolyar's sister, who is on a bus now heading from Ukraine to Warsaw with her two little children, mom, and their dog Lola. They are traveling light, along with many other families consisting of women and small kids, and will need support. Coincidentally, I met Elina in Miami last Thursday night, and she was very concerned about her sister. Within a day, and with Rita’s help, we were able to secure the housing and help for them. Our mutual friend Pola will soon be hosting them in her summer home, where I will be visiting next week to drop off supplies.
For only $70 I can put a family in a hotel room for one night at the hotels where I stayed when I lived in Poland. These hotels include Sheraton and Westin, as I have negotiated and got approved of my old corporate rates. Just think for a second, that you could easily take a family out of the cold, and into a nice hotel room where they will have comfort, food, and a bed to sleep on.
As many of you know, my mom passed away recently, and I can’t think of a better cause than this one to fill 3 suitcases with many items that can be of use for the Ukrainian refugees, and bring them over.
Once I’m on the ground I will be delivering supplies, buying clothes and food for those in need. I also will be driving families to their new temporary housing from the border. Any contribution will be appreciated, and I will be using the funds donated by you to buy whatever is needed and to secure accommodations for as many as possible. I will be posting all the receipts from the stores, so any amount will help and it will make a difference.
This idea came to fruition while I was out and about in Miami, and suddenly it dawned on me, that Poland would be a better place for me to be at the moment, as I can add value in a meaningful way and support the Ukrainian refugees.
PLEASE HELP. We are so grateful and appreciate any contribution you make.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and THANK YOU AGAIN!
Rita, Elina & Ryan.
