UNC Phi Gam For Flint
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Maclin Batchelor, and I am the President of the Epsilon Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta at UNC Chapel Hill. One of our core values as a fraternity is service. Along with the help of my good friend, Theresa "Mama T" McMillan, we are starting a fundraiser for those affected by the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. We want to make the largest impact we can for those in need!
This is where you come in! The donations to this GoFundMe will be used to purchase water from Sam's Club. We will buy pallets of bottled water that will be available for pickup by St. Mary's Church in Flint.
UPDATE: Due to logistical issues, we could not work out a way for bottled water donations to be shipped up to Flint. However, we have been in contact with the Red Cross, and any donations bottled water donations we receive will impact those in our immediate area who are in need of supplies. We will also be accepting bottle water donations at the Phi Gam House Monday, February 29th through Friday, March 4th as well as Monday, March 7th through Thursday, March 10th.
In summary, you can donate money to the GoFundMe (which will directly impact St. Mary's Church in Flint) or deliver bottled waters to the predetermined location listed above. The money collected will be used solely for the purpose of buying bottled water. Thank you so much for your contribution to this fundraiser!
